Cultural Hub
Ngapuh Homestead operates as a living laboratory for regenerative architecture community building and rural self sufficiency. The homestead hosts guests, students and collaborators and demonstrates how architecture can shape daily life.
Bamboo Processing
Ongoing work with locally sourced bamboo including harvesting, treatment and drying. Establishing a small scale bamboo processing and treatment space to support local building, education and material resilience.
Design and Build Course
A hands on design and build programme centred on lightweight modular bamboo structures. The course brings students to material reality through scale model making and full sacle assembly. Using a petal bamboo system participants learn structural and material logic.
Lottie & Lelem's Farmhouse
Lottie & Lelem's Farmhouse
Lottie and Lelem decided to build their farmhouse in the jungle. Inspired by the Bidayuh kampung vernacular the house was designed together with their community. It blends traditional craft with contemporary design and reflects a shared vision rooted in sustainable living. This is where our architectural blueprint idea began and we invite you to explore our design and build journal.
