A home formed of two parts connected by an open plan living and kitchen space with enclosed pantry. The toilet outside sheltered under the roof overhang and the shower open to the air. A side stair leads up to a roof terrace, which offers another generous living space.

50m2 Floor Area

The main living space sits elevated on the first floor, offering privacy and open views. The stairs wrap around  the bathroom and shower tower, leading up to the roof terrace. The first floor deck creates a shaded ground floor area, extending the living space and connecting the home to its surroundings.

36m2 Floor Area

The design has an open living area at the front, featuring a daybed and a dining space. Behind this sits a private bedroom with its own kitchenett. Outside, there’s a toilet and shower, with the toilet cleverly tucked under the the large overhanging roof that provides shelter and shade.

150m2 Floor Area

A modern longhouse. The design is made up of 4 rooms of equal size set beneath one long roof. The rooms are separated by bathroom blocks. An access terrace runs the full length of the building, forming an outdoor living corridor.

40m2 Floor Area

A simple bamboo hut with closed kitchen at ground level and a sleeping or living space above, set beneath the curves of the bamboo roof, accessed by central covered bamboo steps.

30m2 Floor Area

This bamboo pavilion designed for gathering with built in benches, the roof is self supporting, using a reciprocal petal formation. The edges of the roof undulate gently, giving the pavilion a flowing appearance that feels open and dynamic.

A beautiful simple canopy with overlapping roof sections, each with rolled ends that allow for easy adjustment of the canvas lengths. While an intentional gap between the roof sections prevents wind uplift. Following the steep slope of the land, the canopy forms an inviting, sheltered space that protects the facilities below from rain while allowing light to filter through.

A double storey spa with a flower shaped roof made from curved bundled bamboo, creating a graceful form that blends with the natural surroundings. A uplifting retreat space perfect for a tranquil for rest and renewal.
